Thanks for all the replies.

It's reassuring that one has been powered up for 2/3 years. Thanks for that. No worries leaving it on then.

With regards the high strength velcro, I'm a little cautious about that method. I can see it now: Velcro slips, wife calls you at work, to say the remote won't power up. Boo hoo!

I was thinking about something like a u shaped bracket, that the ipronto could sit in. Has anyone seen anything suitable? I had also considering resessing it into the wall, but want a solution that mean's I can grab it easily and put it back quickly?

Any ideas?
