phillips in the manual page 29 says under the title external connections
you can connect a headphone to the ipronto to hear stereo sounds.when you plug inthe headphone.you will not hear sounds through the ipronto speakers.
The mmc/sd slot and the usb port will provide you with even more possibilities with future upgrades of the ipronto software.
so the way it reads to me that they should provide us with a fully functioning remote or why bother in the first place putting these facilities on (probaly a sale gimmick)
