Kalle,
A freeze is the best way to describe the crash. It doesn't seem to matter whether it is in sleep mode or active. On a good run, the remote will last about 2 hours. I was watching some basketball the other night and it worked for about 2:30 hrs before it locked up. After a freeze the remote will not reboot when I press the reset button, it just goes to a plain black screen. It will only come back to life after I remove the power or the battery pack. Many people in this forum said that the remote would freeze during the EPG update which would occur once every few weeks but this remote has not survived a single night. When I go to sleep it seems to be fine, but by about 3am it is deader than Dillinger. When you say hard reset, do you mean holding down the channel + button? Thanks so much for your help. I have worked on this thing for about 3 day and I don't feel like I have gotten anywhere with it.
