But everyone who haunts Remote Central ought to be aware of Philips foibles. So shame on you if you read these posts and still buy Philips products with the expectaion that you are going to get great support. The thing is, if you want a programmable/customizable remote control, the Pronto line is the best deal in town for a smart shopper - which most of us here are.
I am reminded that Ithe plastic protective cap to my Norelco (Philips brand) electric razor ceased to function - it fell off. It took an inordinate amount of effort, but Philips ultimately replaced it free!
