I too bought a used iPronto for cheap ($350) off eBay. Outside of the fact that the editor software isn't very stable and hasn't incorporated a lot of the features that are in PPENG, I have few complaints. I LOVE the big screen. I put instructions/explanations on the screen. My wife, who wouldn't touch my Pronto 7000 operates the iPronto like Issac Stern plays violin.
The Pronto rep who manned Philips booth at CES in January said Philips would be announcing follow-on products in the fall at CEDIA. Whatever they are, I hope they will be able to read an icf file. If anyone on this forum knows anything about Philips plans for a big-screen remote, and is not on non-disclosure, I hope you will post it here
