It started the way these things do - buttons way off, frustratingly impossible to get a calibration that didn't fail ...

Then one weekend I came back to the iPronto and nothing responds.

Well, I say nothing, if I press firmly along the left hand edge of the screen I can switch between windows, but can't get into the 'upload menu' (rebooted it so now even my hard buttons have defaulted)

Pressing the scroll wheel gets me into the back page to run a calibration, but selecting the button is a bit hit and miss - ie. hit the screen and most of the time it misses - and when it finally decides to run a calibration, it's doing it all itself then failing

I have a theory ... but it involves dismantling the iPronto, and having removed the five screws I could see, the cover doesn't seem very keen on seperating

Any advice ? Either on alternative solutions, or dismantling the iPronto ?
