i see your point but, alot of the good movies are on bluray
and nov. 17 there will be 1 million bluray players in
peoples homes,in one day. ps3!

Yes there are alot of good movies on Bluray right now, but 90% off them look horrible overly compressed and just not worth the upgrade.

HD DVD however has a stellar production line up and things always seem to look amazing. Also they have just as many excellent movies available.

PS3 will have bluray which is big and one of the reasons I mentioned bluray may win, but the X360 will have an HD DVD add on and if the PQ stays as rock solid as it has been, reviews will keep making bluray look bad in the consumers eye.

Personally I hope the better format wins and if Sony doesn't step up to the plate and smarten up I will keep telling everyone that asks me to go HD DVD for the time being.

Keep in mind this is just my opinion from someone who owns both formats and really only cares about quality. I mean we pay so much for our systems, why not feed them the best signals we possibly can.
