Disconnect the battery and AC adapter then reconnect while holding down the Channel+ hard button. As the iPronto reboots it will display the MANUAL CONFIGURATION menu
Press Volume + to go down in the menu untill you've reached RESTORE
Press the Channel+ button to select the menu option which will bring you to the RESTORE menu
Press the Volume+ button to go down in the menu untill you've reached the FLAG FOR UPDATE menu option
Press the Channel+ button to toggle the FLAG FOR UPDATE from YES to NO.
Press the Volume + button point to go down to DONE and select it with Channel + this brings you back to the previous menu.
Now select the RESUME option which will launch a restart.
Once restarted without trying to do a firmware update, you should be able to go into Setup and correct all your network settings.
