Hello Goshdarnit,

yes, I have the same behavior with my iPronto
and the NetX. I thought it's the NetX - without
I don't have the problem?!

The problem occurs if the iPronto turns off to
save power and if I then press a key of touch
the screen it needs several seconds until the
pressed key is released. During that time the
NetX LED shows "green". Usually nothing happens,
I mean, the command is gone. If I press the button
again everything is normal again.

This has something to do with the "wakeup" of
the iPronto.

Sad. Very sad. I thought I am the only one with
this problem.

I really hope Philips will fix this shortly. Maybe
with the "WPA" encryption?! :-)

Best regards,

Kalle

What you're describing is a different issue. I also have that one, where it takes a while to "wake up". I understand the reason for this, as it has to re-establish a connection with the NetX via Wi-Fi. It's a bit of a pain, but I understand why it is this way (batteries would last about 2 hours if it had to keep the Wi-Fi connection alive full-time).

No, my problem is while the iPronto is awake. I have already pressed a button and it has worked (for example, Fast Forward). With Tivo I usually press it twice to get a decent Forward Speed. Often, that second press works, but the button stays "pressed" and nothing can be done until it decides it's had enough of playing, when everything goes back to normal. By that time, however, you're halfway through the program you were trying to watch!
