I think I may have a way to make the EPG go off. I had to have my IPronto off for a bit and unplugged the battery. Upon loading my file again, the EPG would not work. The activation code had been cleared. It seemed to want to connect for a day and now does not. I have not looked at it at 5AM, but it does not appear to d/l since it has no code. Or, maybe it checks and then just shuts off since there is no code. Can anyone else confirm this? Just try removing the activation code from the EPG settings.
