I recently acquired an ipronto TSI6400 to replace my Harmony 880. My current challenge is with a Barco Data 808s projector. I made the change from the Harmony because my projector works best in complete darkness and the Harmony doesn’t light up the buttons very well. My wife is not interested in learning the button positions by touch. The ipronto is very bright and easy to use. Hopefully she will find it more user friendly.

I have all of the devices in my home theatre working, except for the Barco projector. I have tried all sorts of solutions (getting an education from the good folks on this forum). I have learned the codes, tried many different ccf’s from others who appear to have the same pj and have used the codes from pcf’s in my ccf by cutting and pasting from PE/NG. Nothing is working for me. The original Barco remote works, and the Harmony remote works (after I spent some time with the Harmony tech folks to create the code set for the Barco ... they explained that the Barco is different since it doesn’t do an initial handshake. I don’t know if that has any bearing here.)

If anyone has had some experience with this, I am keen to hear about how you got it to work. Here is the learned code for STANDBY (the on button for a Barco) from an upload I did from the ipronto to ipronto edit:

0100 000D 0000 000E 0003 0059 0003 0016 0003 0037 0003 0016 0003 0016
0003 0037 0003 0016 0003 0037 0003 0037 0003 0037 0003 0016 0003 0016
0003 0059 0003 8EC4

When I transmit these codes from the iPronto to the IR port on the Barco, nothing happens.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Harvey
