JFFS2 sounds a bit familiar - the good, old SAT receiver "Dbox2" from Philips (who else) uses the same filesystem to boot from (stored in two EEPROM). Fascinating.

If you're able to load the iPronto "image" to your local drive on your PC, modify it and could bring it back to the iPronto - wow, I will join you then :-)

There are a lot of free proggies for I-Scale and this java container stuff. If we could open a bash shell on the iPronto :-)
