I've never seen all the problems with the PC software others have reported on this forum. On W2k its always been pretty solid and useful.
The only annoyances for me are:
1. You can't specify the startup page. Must use external program. Not big deal, but annoying.
2. Some codes are difficult to learn or can't be learned. I was able to teach all my codes. Some were difficult to teach though.
3. Its a hassle to translate discrete codes from the pronto to pronto neo format. It'd be nice to have something like this in the software.
4. It'd be nice to have a higher contrast display.
But the hard buttons on the bottom are so darned useful once I got it all programmed the way I wanted with my discrete codes, I'm keeping it. It works great with my Tivo which uses the arrow keys extensively.
Not for everyone, and it has some annoyances that I hope they fix, but its working for me where many other remotes failed.
