That's definitely true; I see how it's a better long term approach, though it still seems like a limitation to me that should at some point be corrected.
Well, it looks like I need to go back and reprogram the channel macros I just created :(

I think what Steve is saying is that no matter
how you enter the codes, it is easier to use alias
for macros then reentering the codes. What would
happen if you change TV? your way would mean that
you need to redo all macros. Steve's way would
mean relearning (or using the UDB) on ten buttons.
