I received the same message last week. I tried downloading some of the color pictures from the ProntoPro to the Neo, and got the same message.
The fix for me was of course to reflash the Neo with the new firmware. I then uploaded from the Neo, fixed the uploaded file how I wanted it, and then downloaded that file back to the Neo. Perhaps you've got something in one of those ncf's that isn't kosher with the Neo
