I'd like some advice as to which model/models of Philips remotes I need, or have to choose among, that meet my modest needs.

I have a plasma monitor, stereo receiver, DVD player, PC, VCR, and Comcast HD cable box.

I want the remote volume control to always work the stereo volume, the remote channel selector to always operate the Comcast cable box, and operation of the VCR and DVD from the remote. It would be nice if the remote would also switch the stereo and plasma inputs to their appropriate positions when switching among the PC, cable box, DVD, and VCR as input sources (The stereo switches the cable box and DVD to the plasma's RGB inputs). A charging stand for the remote would be nice too.

I don't want to have to toggle between the various devices to perform operations (e.g., I don't want to have to move to the stereo device function in order to change volume when playing the comcast or DVD function).
