We are excited to announce the release of the “Add a Menu Item” tool for adding new menu items to your Activity menus.

Similar to the Change Button Function feature, the Add a Menu Item feature lets you customize your Harmony's behaviour while in an Activity. For example, suppose you have a Light control device and want to adjust your lights while playing a DVD. Simply use the Add a Menu Item tool to add "Light Bright" and "Light Dim" commands to the Play menu in your Watch DVD activity. You will then have quick and easy access to those commands while playing a DVD.

To access the "Add a Menu Item" tool, click on Add one Activity, choose activity type "Utility", then choose "Add a Menu Item".
