Just about to write to ntl director, can someone tell me why I shouldn't just buy a OneForAll Mosaic to solve the Pronto/ntl problem

Hey pronto people in u.k. You may have allready thought of this but why not use an all for one to program the pronto ? or a sl9000 ? thats what i do for nec because the pronto doesnt like nec's component remotes .
