Alright I am done! I Sherlock Holmes'ed the problem. Eliminate every possibility and whatever is left, no matter how improbable is the only solution. Believe it or not, the TV wanted to be sent "InputDVI3" 3!!! It only has 1 DVI input. =) Ah well, it works now. I am still angry at the pain one has to go through to set the remote up but I'm happy it's all working.
