Currently I am using a Harmony 659 to control an LG Plasma HD TV, Sony STR-DA555ES Receiver, Sony DVP-S550D DVD Player, JVC XV-N40 Multi-Region DVD Player and a Pace DC-550 HD Cable Box. All works very well except that the line of sight to the Cable Box and both DVD Players is obstructed by an armchair, I have to point the Harmony 'ove' the armchair to get the devices to repond to commands.
I am considering buying a Harmony 890. Would that be the answer for me?
How is the AV Control unit set up ? Does it have to be connected in some way to the devices? On the Logitech Web Site it looks as though there is some sort of cable connected to the AV Control Unit?? Could I place the AV Unit on the armchair and could I still control the TV and the Receiver by IR?
I would welcome your advice and input whether a 890 would be the answer.
Thanks
