Run thru setup of tv activity. At the end you are presented with choices for "yes it's the way I want", "yes, but I want more control", "no, I need setup again". Select "yes, I want more control". Go thru the steps and you will be asked if you want to add commands for any device upon entering or exiting activity. Here you can choose to send volume down or multiple volume down to your tv.
