When you learn commands the remote is simply reading the IR signal and sending it back to the website where it is analyzed and stored in your configuration.

First try all of the commands available for the receiver in device mode to see if the one you need is already there. Typically you get all the commands available for a family of devices which should be a superset of the commands available for your specific model. But that depends on who entered the commands for that device.

If you need to learn a command but the command isn't working, try relearning it in RAW mode.
