I understand the problem may have been fixed but maybe only on the newer remotes such as the 680. I'll try and get more info and let you know.

The Foxtel Digital IR issue has been a major one for the A/V industry in Australia. I believe it has to do with Foxtel using high bit rate codes which are not handled by a lot of IR devices, including some IR receivers from Xantech and some other programmable remotes. Not too sure why they went this route! I know the HTM remotes such as the MX-700 and MX-3000 are OK with it.
