I have DIRECTV and have a similar sequence for HD filter (GUIDE > GUIDE > PG-DN > SELECT), but don't have a need for the DASH as a delay. Have you tried removing it? That obviously gets you to 5 keys...
Other than that, you can try to learn DOWN-DOWN as a single raw command, but there's no guarantees it will work.
Finally, we can keep requesting Logitech up the limit from 5 commands to 10, and that they permit variable delays during execution of sequences ...
