My Sony DVD player DVP-NS50P is recognised as a device and the 525 allocated Power toggle button function button works well to turn it on and off.

However when I create an Activity to turn on/off my TV (Pioneer PDP-507XDA), amp (Yamaha RX-V496) and the DVD player the TV and amp turn on and off but the DVD player doesn't.

So when the 525 remote knows about the DVD player, recognises and controls it as a device but seemingly can't include that device in an activity what do I do next?

I've tried varying the timing, setting the 525 power toggle from the original remote and altering the device switch on sequence without success.

Phone help wasn't able to resolve the matter. The remote Help function does control the DVD as part of the Activity but having to use it is a pain.
