You're right. I forgot that my IR/RF7243 converts both IR & RF -> X10.
The x10 remote doesn't appear to send proper x10 IR commands (only RF) when in X10 mode. It transmits some type of IR command, as the keys on the 895 lit up when in learn mode, but it must just be noise.

The activity sequence feature wont really work for me .
It would turn off all my other devices (TV, Receiver etc)
I want to be able to control my lights without messing around with my AV setup.
Is there any way around this?

I dont currently have another x10 remote to teach from.
Is there any way that someone can upload single-button commands to logitech's database?
