How does the toggle work if you're coming from the HDMI input? What buttons do you press on the OEM remote in these scenarios:

From analog to HDMI and then back to analog
From analog to HDMI and then back to digital
From analog to digital

I assume it goes back to either analog or digital depending on where you had it before. If so then you'll need to set up the inputs as a toggle between digital and analog so that it keeps track of where it is between those two. The answers to the questions above will help you finish the setup as far as which buttons you have to press and how it behaves. Then you either add another clone device for the HDMi input (with HDMI as the only input - discrete method) or add the HDMI commands to the activity startup.

The key is you have 2 different input methods on one device and you can't configure it both ways.
