Set up the main device with the toggle tuner inputs and setup the clone device with only one discrete input - HDMI. You may have to play with the setup of the toggle tuner inputs to get back there from the HDMI input but it should work the same.
The other option is to simply manually send the HDMI input command in the activity startup, but if you do it that way then HELP won't fix it.
