My TV does have HDMI control. Which is pretty cool if you don't have a Harmony. However even after turning the power on option to OFF, the receiver was still coming on. That's when it hit me this morning that the receiver also has a setting.
Man, even being an Engineer and reading the manuals on all my components this stuff still puzzles me sometimes.
