I think I figured it out. It was not the TV is was the Receiver. It was set to "TV + amp", so every time the TV turned on the Receiver also turned on. I changed it to "amp". I did not have time to check it. But I think this will solve it. Strange thing is the manual states that the default setting is "amp" only?? Oh well I am sure it would not be the first time there is an error in a user manual.
