For the first couple of years, using my old 659, we had no "Aspect" command for media center (it was '04 or '05 then). At some point along the way, not necessarily at the same time, we got an 880, and also discovered some kind soul had added an "Aspect" command that we could assign, which has been absolutely great (changing the aspect manually is a drag). Have had that running for the last couple of years.

A couple of weeks ago, I picked up a new linksys dma 2100 extender and a small white samsung lcd tv for the kitchen. Great setup, after the initial kinks everyone's real happy with it.

Except, the big problem was that the Harmony 880 in the living room would not only send its commands to the main home theater setup, but they would also make it all the way to the kitchen (line of sight, an extra 25' or so).

With multiple STB's, I'm familiar with addressing, and found a way to change Vista's (and the remote's) address, and updated my 880. When changing the STB addresses, the Harmony database actually had multiple codesets already on file which was handy, but for Vista Media Center it didn't, so I had to relearn the whole set. Unfortunately there is no aspect button on my remote and the one from the database which worked so great for years doesn't work (presumably because it's based on remote address '1', the default, and now the remote/pc use remote address '2').

I would do this the other way around, i.e. change the address on the extender and give up a single-button Aspect command in the kitchen where it's not nearly as important but unfortunately linksys hasn't given us this ability (yet...?)

Anyway, does anyone have any ideas? Or an MCE/VMC remote with an aspect button? How does one get an additional codeset added to the Logitech database, along with a manually updated code? Or is this even possible?
