Urgh. I'm horribly confused now! You guys are quite obviously experts in these matters... I'm going to have to go over this slowly and try to figure out what to do. I did go through all of the different input buttons when it was in device mode, and noted that the labels rarely reflect what actually happens when you push the buttons. Why is that - surely this TV is common enough that the codes should have been entered properly the first time? Who is it that uploads the codes to Logitech in the first place? Is it possible that the same model of TV would have a different remote in a different market, leading to this issue? I had presumed that in fact the same remote would be used for multiple TV models, meaning an even greater installed user base and therefore wider usage.
I think I'll follow the tip of adding the inputnext doofer when starting the activity. I had tried that once previously but didnt quite get it right.
