As per your description, it also seems the "InputHDMI" command is a toggle not a discrete command. Try all the input commands in device mode paying attention to their behaviour (discrete vs toggle/cycling). In the LG Model 42-PC1D device dataset, I see the "InputHDMI2" command. Its default adjust input settings is set to Method 2 (discrete method) and uses the "InputDVI/DTV" command for the HDMI1/DVI labelled input and the "InputRGB/DTV" command for the "HDMI2" labelled input. Don't confuse input label names with input command names.
