I think the 882 is the Japanese version. I could be wrong. Looking at the picture it seems the only difference is the bottom row of keys. Instead of +/CLEAR, 0/Space and E/ENTER you get 10/0, 11/* and 12/#. Still no Sound and Picture buttons.

I too miss the Sound and Picture buttons; Logitech seem to have abandoned them in favour of other butons that people need. It would be nice if they could redesign the software so that these functions could be assigned to soft buttons for those people who require them.

One thing I will add though. I've had two 885s and they've only lasted a year each before some of the buttons started failing. This could just be bad luck on my part. Has anybody else here had similar experience?
