It was done by someone here before, I tried to search for the specific thread which showed the proper LED's to get from Radio Shack but I had no luck in finding it.
Below is a link to Logitech online forum showing someone who basically did the same thing. It's about half way down. If your at all handy and have soldering tools it should be $3.00 repair. If your gonna send it to Logitech for repair may as well buy a new at HTGuys.com for about $85.00.
