days. I then went back to Duracell alkaline batteries,
and now even they won't last more than a couple of days!
Of course, I don't know the exact time frame for all this,

is that now, no set of batteries, whether alkaline or
NiMH, will last more than 2-3 days. Did using the NiMH
batteries cause some circuitry in the 659 to fail? Any

My 659 was working fine for 1 year with NiMH, and then 2 weeks ago the batteries life dropped drastically. Even with brand new NiMH set, the remote works now for 1 HOUR or two before displaying the "Replace batteries" message. With four new alkalines, it works for a day and then the message "replace batteries" appears. Have updated to the last firmware in safe mode, nothing's changed.
Any ideas ???? Thanks in advance.
