You can transfer your settings from your old remote to the new one. You should only need to change some incompatible button mappings, if that.

The touch screen on the one is great - requires a very light touch and is very responsive. My only problem is that it's hard for me to tell exactly which button I'm pressing if I'm holding the remote out in front of me. The One seems to be built very well and there are NO issues with the charging cradle - it's very solid.

I do seem to be having a slight issue with the skip forward button - it works fine but feels like it's rubbing something just slightly. But so far it works great, and I've had both a 659 and a 720.
