I hope this is the right forum for my question. I have a Bose LifeStyle 20 that I want controlled using my Harmony One universal remote. The only solution out there seems to be the Audio Authority C-1024A product which translates IR into signals that the Bose understands via a serial cable.
I purchased the C-1024A but cannot get it to work. It doesn't even seem to respond that it's receiving IR signals at all, let alone control the LS20.
I've tried programming the remote using various devices (Bose Lifestyle 20, Lifestyle 25, Lifestyle 18) but nothing happens. I have confirmed that switch 1 is in the up position on the C-1024A. I have unplugged and plugged back every cable. No luck.
What else can I try before giving up and returning it? For now, replacing the Bose with a real system isn't an option. I really want to get this configuration working!
Thanks!
