Just wondering if there is a work around for the following scenario :

I walk to thr TV (all equipment is off), sit down and press 'watch TV'. Everything comes on and I watch happily for an hour. Now my brother comes along to play Xbox.

Do I need to turn everything off again, so that he can press 'play Xbox'?

If I DON'T switch off and he just presses 'play Xbox' its going to assume equipment is off and try turn it on ... so its going to turn off :/

Basically - before every activity you'll need to start with everything off in.

Or as an alternate, he'll need to go to devices and switch inputs manually.

MY assumption right?
