Email may be able to solve most problems. But there are times when the details needed needs to take place by phone. Email would take far too long to solve a problem if after you give them your prolem via email they have more questions for you. You then have to respond back and then wait for another response which may, based on your last response be another question. So what Im saying is that you may eventually get your problem fixed, it sure will be a pain in the but.
