Noob here - please be gentle...

Looking for a very simple to use remote with RF capabilities. My TV is 20' away from the component cabinet, and the cabinet door is solid wood.

I've been using an IR splitter, and it works well with the stock remotes. But it's time to simplify things for my bride and for when my parents stay at the house.

I'm leaning toward the 670, but trying to determine if this RF device will work with it:

I need to control my AV amp, DVD player, cable box, and my TV of course. If this combo works, it can be a very nice, affordable option for my simple project.
