You have to go into the TV set setup functions. Look in the "Auto Tuning" function. It allows you to associate devices with inputs. (in my case, everything except the TV Tuner is routed through the Stereo Receiver, and then to Ext 1). Then the device selectors at the top of the remote, in addition to setting the remote for the correct device, also send a code to the TV, forcing it to switch to the specified input. You can assign several devices to the same input, which is what I do due to the routing described above.

(DVD, VCR, ReplayTV, digital cable box) hooked
up to? What if I have a non-learnable device (I
assume it won't have the code for ReplayTV, although
I can try the Panasonic VCR codes) on an input?
