I am looking for the discrete codes, the power codes in particular, for the CS-2656R, which also used the same IR codes (I'm told) as the CK-2602R, CK-2604R, CK-2605R, CS-2058R, CS-2060R, CS-2557R, and the CS-2658R. (Yes, this is an old TV--1988!) The original part number for the remote was 939P245010, substituted by 939P317050, and also generic no. 939P317B5. The Mitsubishi set 1 TV codes, which work in large part on my set, do have discrete power codes (on and off) but they don't work on my model. I use a Pronto TSU2000.

In the event such Mitsu TVs don't have discrete codes, and only have TOADs, I presume it is not worth trying the utlilites at this site like IR Tool. Am I correct, is going that route a waste of my time? Thanks in advance.
