Try the Setup Code 0158 and discrete code 113 (on) and 109 (off). These codes work for my Sony STR-DE945 receiver. The on and off codes are generic codes for all Sony products--you just need to alter the Setup Code. Setup codes for Sony CD players include 0000 and 0185--try those with the 113 and 109 to turn your CD player on and off. Check out this site for more discrete codes: [Link: hifi-remote.com].
