I don't think anyone has found the right person at Hughes to confirm this, but I beleiev some one did use a One-for-all remote and generated what they believed were all possible codes, and none of them were discrete on/off. But as I said in my previous post, why would you need them? The STB is designed to be left "on" all the time - and even when it is switched "off" most of the receiver is powered up and working.
