So... what your saying is that we need a small, possibly USB device that can strobe the IR sequences as instructed by some software into which we've entered or pasted codes. HMmmmmmm... Either that or we refuse to try to reinvent the wheel and we purchase an inexpensive learning remote in order to teach our more expensive learning remote.
Oh well... I've ordered my AV3000. It arrives tomorrow. It HAS to be better than having a basket (literally) of remotes even if I don't get into programming it very heavily. (Which.... since the AV3000 can't save to a PC or recover from one may not be a bad idea.... KISS principle and all)
