There are already files for device upgrades including all the ReplayTV commands at the JP1 site. Rob Crowe, the force behind www.hifi-remote.com and the Jp1 group is also a big ReplayTV fan so I think that there are also commands there that probably can't be found elsewhere.

Replay uses an IR protocol called RC6a that will take two bytes commands in an OFA remote. So simply knowing the EFC won't work like the single byte commands. Hence, to get a discrete power command for Replay into the 8811 will require a JP1 cable.
