OOPS! Not a 5000, but rather a (DigitalTheater) 6000. Slight step down from 7000 - very likely IR codes are compatible. I use a Pocket PC with Pronto/CCF compatible software. If you can translate, that'd be great. (Thanks for the offer!)
I just joined the Yahoo JP1 group - YIKES! There's a lot of info out there! How did you find the Boston 7000 info so quickly? I ask because I also need codes for my old Philips TV (27K241). The remote for it crapped out years ago, and I've never found a preprogrammed remote that had all the fucntions.
Don't have a OFA or JP1 i/f cable, but I can clearly see the benefits of buying one & fab'ing a cable. Do you know which OFA/RadShack model represents the entry level for JP1 plug? If it can be had for $20-30, I'll go buy it today!
