I didn't look nearly that closely and now I wonder if we're looking at the same thing. I just see 12 simple '0's and '1's encoded in the most typical way.

In the above sample I see pairs like
0019 0050
0014 0050
0019 004B

Those are all '0's. You didn't think those tiny differences meant something did you?

I see 0019 00AF and 0019 00B4. Those are '1's.

What did I miss?

BTW, this is also the UEI VCR/0320 protocol 004B discussed recently in the JP1 group for a SABA VCR.
