I don't recognise the protocol. It is NOT JVC protocol and it is NOT the protocol I've seen with other SABA VCR's.

I did a text search of all the CML (large collection) and CCF (small collection) samples I've downloaded and there are no examples of this protocol anywhere in those samples.

I think I understand the structure of the protocol. If you know how to use MakeHex, I could post a .irp file that would tell MakeHex to construct all possible commands for this device (if you want to do tedious testing to find the ones you're missing).
